We talked about Roger putting in for an assignment there, but eventually decided that wasn't what he really wanted to do. Looking back though, it would have been a good assignment! Our best assignment was to Elmendorf AFB (Anchorage, Alaska) ~ I wouldn't have traded our 3 years in Alaska for anything! You're having a great adventure in Arizona though ~ and even if we don't get to see one another again on this earth, we'll have an eternity to sing together the praise of our amazing God! Mer, I'm sort of at the mercy of my in-laws as far as getting from Denver to the valley. Currently I'm not planning to rent a car, but that could change. If I do end up renting a car and setting my own schedule, I will most definitely be stopping in your neighborhood! :) And I would love to see the tea house, since it wasn't open the last time we were together. The community newspaper we get indicated that we haven't yet broken 90degrees this summer. I need a jacket to sit outside at night. And in the mountains? Even cooler! YAY.
