oh my!!!!!

I LOVED THIS 9and the previous one) MOVIE!

The Gates name was tarnished when Ed Harris' character came forward with a piece of a notebook that had the great great (great?) grandfather's name on it that "SUPPOSEDLY" linked him as a conspirator in Abe Lincoln's assassination.

As you know how the movie ends, I won't rattle that off here, but you know that the name was cleared and it was all a ploy anyway.

Unrealistic movie, yes, but i was thrilled the characters from the first movie were in the second... that the storyline continued in America (instead of going abroad) and it was actually a continuation of the first (instead of just some random period of time.) Nice to see further into the Gates' history and character relationships develop more.

LOVED IT! But then again, I was a HUGE HUGE fan of Indiana Jones movies and to me, the National Treasure movies ring of those, only stateside!

I am so behind in reading blogs so today I am catching up on yours! Blessings! Emily SHS

Hi Trish,

I just rented Nationa Treasure from Blockbuster this afternoon. My friend was in disbelief when I told her we'd never seen it...and she said it was okay for the entire family, so we're making pizza and hoping to settle down and watch it later!

I'll just rent the second one when it comes out since you only gave it a 2.5. LOL!
